The Rail trail at Little Cohas Brook

The Rail Trail Committee of Londonderry Trailways is hosting a mountain bike tour of the Londonderry Rail Trail on Sunday May 15 at 1 pm.   We will meet at the Park-n-Ride Bus Stop at Exit 5, and proceed east toward the airport.   If  time and interest allow, we will then travel southeast toward Derry.   Total time is 1-2 hours, and mountain bikes are required due to the rough nature of the trail in spots.

The 6 mile Londonderry Recreational Rail Trail will run from the Boston Manchester Airport in the north to the town line near Ash St in Derry.  The trail will follow the route of the old Manchester & Lawrence Railroad and pass by of areas of natural or historical interest including the scenic Little Cohas Brook wetlands, historic North Londonderry Village, and the New Hampshire Aviation Museum.

Londonderry Trailways is an all volunteer organization made up of citizens interested in improving the recreation and commuting trails in Lonodnerry.  Please visit for more information about the Rail Trail and all recreational trails in Londonderry.

Jacklynn has been a resident in Londonderry since the age of 5. She grew up in a quiet neighborhood and went through the great school system. She has fond memories of bike riding through town in the spring and summer, sledding in the winter, and apple and pumpkin picking in the fall. She now has children of her own and looks forward to raising them in the same town she enjoyed so much as a youth.
