Sunnycrest Farm Fresh Flower Picking

Jul 26, 2011 No Comments by

The weather forecast the next few days predicts mostly sunny skies, New England humidity, and light breezes here in Londonderry. What a perfect time to take the family, or just yourself, flower picking! Sunnycrest Farm, also known for their fresh and delicious U-Pick fruit, has fields full of fresh flowers in vibrant colors.

For only 30 cents per stem, take home a dozen or two for your kitchen table. Perfect for any room in the house, place them on the mantel in the family room. Buy a simple and elegant vase and give the flowers to a loved one. The possibilities are near endless, and the flowers are sure to brighten anyone’s day.

Also, stop in Sunnycrest’s Farm Market to take home some local grown corn, squash, lettuce, tomatoes, and so much more! Blueberries and Raspberries are still on the vine waiting to be picked, and the farm animals across the street would love to meet the family!

Jacklynn has been a resident in Londonderry since the age of 5. She grew up in a quiet neighborhood and went through the great school system. She has fond memories of bike riding through town in the spring and summer, sledding in the winter, and apple and pumpkin picking in the fall. She now has children of her own and looks forward to raising them in the same town she enjoyed so much as a youth.
