Londonderry Christian Church will be hosting a special presentation called Fall Feasts of Israel. To be held on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at 6 PM, the presentation will explain how the Messiah is related to Jewish feasts, like Yom Kippur and Sukkot.

Fall Feasts of Israel will be conducted by Jennifer Rodgers, from Chosen People Ministries. This mission was founded in 1894 by Leopold Cohn, a Hungarian rabbi who came to believe that Jesus is the Messiah promised by Hebrew Scriptures. The mission began small, in Brooklyn, New York, and has since grown into a worldwide ministry to “the Jew and to the Gentile.”

The presentation will focus on the three Jewish feast holiday, Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement, which is considered the holiest day of the Jewish year; Sukkot, Feast of Tabernacles and Booths, which recalls 40 years of wandering the wilderness, living in tents and worshiping in the portable tabernacle; and Rosh Hashanah, Feast of Trumpets, which celebrates the beginning of the Jewish Civil Year.

All are welcome to attend the presentation. It will be held at the Londonderry Christian Church. The church is located at 372 Mammoth Road. For more information, please call 603-432-4630.
