The Londonderry Hannaford will be hosting a Hannaford Helps Schools Night this Friday, October 28, 2011. During this event, shoppers are encouraged to stock up on items and Hannaford will donate $3 for every four items purchased to the Londonderry Elementary School of your choice.

The list of qualifying products is very long and includes personal products, food, household items, and more. Products like toothpaste, yogurt, bleach, cheese, cat litter, cereal, trash bags, juice, salsa, milk, pullups, barbecue sauce, and much more are included in the list.

Stop by Hannaford at 6 Hampton Drive in Londonderry on October 28 from 3 PM until 7 PM to help support Londonderry Schools! The event will feature a hot dog sale, face painting, food tasting, free samples and more.

Last year Hannaford raised $5,996 for Londonderry Schools. Be sure to stop by and help your local school.

About the author

Jacklynn has been a resident in Londonderry since the age of 5. She grew up in a quiet neighborhood and went through the great school system. She has fond memories of bike riding through town in the spring and summer, sledding in the winter, and apple and pumpkin picking in the fall. She now has children of her own and looks forward to raising them in the same town she enjoyed so much as a youth.
