Here is what they are saying about Chad Perrone’s “Wake”—
Alternative Addiciton Top 20 records of 2008 “The only album by an unsigned artist on this chart comes from Boston’s Chad Perrone. This outstanding collection of songs showcases Perrone’s incredible songwriting skills and unforgettable melodies. Wake, Perrone’s second solo release, solidifies his reputation as one of the countries premier unsigned acts.” ***** (Five Star Review)
Perrone has played shows all over New England, selling out clubs like the Paradise in Boston and garnering praise as both a performer and a songwriter in well respected newspapers and magazines.

Grammy Nominated Ottmar Liebert has become one of the most successful instrumental artists of the past decade, thrilling audiences throughout the world and releasing a catalog of classic recordings. By 1989, he had founded the first incarnation of his band Luna Negra. Nouveau Flamenco began life as a self-produced local release called Marita: Shadows and Storms, copies of which local Indian artist Frank Howell distributed in his art galleries. When the record found its way to radio stations and began generating a buzz among programmers and an unprecedented response among listeners, Higher Octave Music picked it up and released a fully remastered version.

New Bookings
Howard Jones is taking on both the U.K. and the U.S. with a special tour where he will play his first two albums, Human’s Lib and Dream Into Action, in their entirety along with other songs from his catalog.
The 1984 album Human’s Lib includes Jones’ breakthrough hits New Song and What is Love? while 1985’s Dream Into Action includes Life in One Day, Like to Get to Know You Well and his first top ten American hits, Things Can Only Get Better and No One is to Blame. Listen

If you went to our last Renaissance show, this one will be completely different!
English symphonic rock band Renaissance rose from the ashes of the seminal UK rock group, the Yardbirds, with vocalist Annie Haslam and principal songwriter and guitarist Michael Dunford to define their work with folk rock and classical fusions. The group will tour this fall to to re-introduce to new generations the lush, orchestral favorites that made them a staple of 1970s progressive rock FM radio.
During their 2011 sold out tour, they were welcomed with standing ovations as they brilliantly performed the classics that fans had been waiting so long to hear again.
Over the band’s lengthy career they have recorded fifteen albums. Despite explorations into solo careers Haslam and Dunford remain the creative core of Renaissance. The current lineup includes keyboardist Rave Tesar and bassist/vocalist David J. Keyes, drummer Joe Goldberger, and keyboardist Jason Hart.
Coupled with the radiant, acrobatic five octave voice of Annie Haslam, they revisit the symphonic textures and poetic lyrics that embody the band’s compelling international themes, with fresh interpretations of their most admired compositions.
Renaissance will perform in two acts their acclaimed album NOVELLA in its entirety plus a treasure trove of their classics and debut selections from their new album Grandine il Vento. Listen

October 19 AL STEWART
Glasgow native Al Stewart began his career playing guitar in Tony Blackburn’s band the Sabres, and moved from there to the London folk club scene. Year of the Cat (1976) spun off two Top 20 hits (the indelible title song and “On the Border”) en route to becoming a million-selling release itself. 1978’s Time Passages, repeated the success of its predecessor, selling a million copies and yielding the Top 10 title track and Top 30 single, “Song on the Radio”. About the author

Scott Hayward is a Derry native who graduated from Pinkerton Academy and Wake Forest University, where he majored in English. While working as a financial planner and looking for investment property in 2004, he came across a building for sale in Londonderry. Then called The Muse, Hayward attended a performance and knew immediately what he wanted to do. After purchasing and doing a major remodeling of the facility, while learning as much as possible about the music business, he opened Tupelo Music Hall on September 11, 2004. Tupelo has since become a huge hit with both music lovers and the many artists who take the stage. The venue has received much critical acclaim and has grown each year in number of performances, attendance, and revenue. Hayward credits the success of the venue to the guiding principles of the business; to present top-flight artists in an intimate and comfortable environment with excellent acoustics and first-class sound reproduction, and to provide a memorable experience for the audience and for the artist. In October 2010, Hayward opened a second Tupelo Music Hall in White River Junction, Vermont, using the Londonderry model. He also operates Tupelo Venue Management, a company providing consulting, booking, and management services to other music venues.
