Movie Mania Night Returns for Town Celebration

Movie Mania, the newest addition to Old Home Day, will take place following Kidz Night.

Returning for a second year to the Old Home Day celebration is Movie Mania Night. Scheduled on the same Thursday as Kidz Night, the movie will begin at 9 PM on the Town Common.

This year’s movie, which will be appropriate for children 12 and over, will be “The Zookeeper”, starring Kevin James as a zookeeper whose animals break their code of silence to help him find love. In case of rain, the movie will be held in the Londonderry High School Cafeteria.

During the movie, Londonderry cheerleading and football organization The Wildcats will be selling refreshments. The Friends of Music organization will also be selling glow necklaces to benefit the Londonderry School District’s music programs.

Movie Mania will be held on August 16, 2012. Don’t miss the newest event added to the five day celebration that is Londonderry Old Home Day, now entering it’s 113th year!

Jacklynn has been a resident in Londonderry since the age of 5. She grew up in a quiet neighborhood and went through the great school system. She has fond memories of bike riding through town in the spring and summer, sledding in the winter, and apple and pumpkin picking in the fall.
