What a town! Not only does Londonderry have hundreds of varieties of fruit, we even have different types of U-pick pumpkin fields. This field at Sunnycrest Farms on High Range Road is flanked by flowers on both sides. The pumpkins are nestled on a bed of fresh yellow straw with a soft pathway to the “Pick Your Own Pumpkins” stand. This is the Cadillac of U-Pick pumpkin patches, no more sloshing through the ruts and mud, the vines and rotting pumpkins that are unavoidable.

Come on up to Londonderry this weekend; we are only 45 minutes away from Boston, Portsmouth, Worcester, and the Lakes region. If you live in Londonderry you know how close you are, and we hope you know how lucky you are too!

About the author

Relocating to Londonderry in 1982 Steve Young was looking to find a community that was close to the high technology beltway in Massachusetts. It also needed to have farms and orchards like the one he lived on in Upstate New York near Lake Ontario. Serving on a variety of Local Boards and Commissions he understands the unique nature of Londonderry. Surrounded by a transportation infrastructure the core of Londonderry are farms and recreation.
