Mack’s Closes for the Season Feburary 1st 2013

Feb 01, 2013 No Comments by

Not the longest but not the shortest season for Mack’s apples in Londonderry.  The farmstand will close today until mid August according to farm manager Mike Cross.

The Mack family has farmed central Londonderry since 1793 making it the oldest family-run apple farm in New Hampshire.

Stop in for the last of the apples or to stock up on local gifts today. You will also find crisp fresh from the huge storage room Red Delicious apples along with squash and apple cider.

While you wait for spring we recommend you leaf through the pages here of this “Online Magazine” of Londonderry, New Hampshire.  With a few months left to winter it is a bit like looking through the seed catalog with the cold wind blowing outside.  Plus don’t forget all the winter activities in town. Musquash Field Day is coming up and snow is on the way for our huge cross country ski trail.
