RE/MAX realtor Mark Oswald announced that the annual RE/MAX Yard Sale will occur on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Crossroads Mall in Londonderry at 8 AM. According to Oswald, “This is a joint effort with Granite State South Board of Realtors and the Londonderry Rotary.”

Items to be donated may be stored on site starting April 10, 2013, courtesy of Fortin Modular Storage who is again donating a storage trailer for this event. Furniture, games, toys and household items are welcome. The Yard Sale will not accept clothing or electronics.

All proceeds will benefit Liberty House and CASA of NH. Liberty House, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was formed by Founder Don Duhamel in 1994, offering first-transitional housing, medical, and job assistance for homeless vets in New Hampshire. CASA of NH is a private, nonprofit organization whose volunteers advocate in New Hampshire’s courts for the best interests of abused and neglected children, so they can grow up in safe, permanent homes.

RE/MAX 1st Choice has been involved in local fundraising in Londonderry since the company opened in 1997. In addition to the yard sale, money is also raised for charities through the company’s annual hot air balloon rides during the town’s Old Home Day celebration.
