Annual Food and Music Festival this Weekend

This weekend, the Rock’n Ribfest will return to Merrimack, New Hampshire, bringing with it family-oriented fun, great food, and a variety of music and entertainment. For the 11th year, the festival will support local nonprofit organizations while offering something for all ages.

The festival will fun from Friday evening, June 14, to Sunday evening, June 16, 2013. Highlights of the weekend include:

  • Stunt plane airshows
  • Five mile road race
  • Kids Piglet Run
  • Teen band and karaoke competitions
  • Brewery tours
  • Kids area featuring hot air balloon rides, petting zoo, demos, rides
  • Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned barbecue competition
  • Gary Hoey, the Psychedelic Relics, the James Montgomery Blues Band, and the Slakas
  • Barbecue cooking demonstration
  • Beef tasting and judging
  • Food from a variety of local restaurants

The Rock’n Ribfest will be held at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Gates will open Friday at 4 PM until 11 PM, Saturday, 11 AM until 10:30 PM, and Sunday 11 AM to 3 PM. Tickets cost $7 for adults, with children under 8 free.

She has fond memories of bike riding through town in the spring and summer, sledding in the winter, and apple and pumpkin picking in the fall.
