Oct 02, 2013 No Comments by

The Londonderry Leach Library is hosting a program of exploring adventures next Monday, October 7, 2013, from 4 PM until 5 PM. Along with hearing great tales of adventure, participants will also leave with a special prize.

During the program, children can hear stories of the courageous people who dared to go where few had gone before. From Viking seafarers to mountaineers, the stories will captivate the children’s imagination. Each child will also leave the program with their own journal to take home, decorate, and record their own adventures in.

The program is open to all ages and space is limited to 90 participants. Advanced registration is required and began September 30, 2013, at 9 AM. To register, call 603-432-1127 or stop by the library’s Children’s Room.

About the author

Jacklynn has been a resident in Londonderry since the age of 5. She grew up in a quiet neighborhood and went through the great school system. She has fond memories of bike riding through town in the spring and summer, sledding in the winter, and apple and pumpkin picking in the fall. She now has children of her own and looks forward to raising them in the same town she enjoyed so much as a youth.
