Wiggins Airway to Break Ground Today

Wiggins Airways will break ground for construction on a $3 million hangar project on Monday, October 7, 2013. The ceremony will begin at 11 AM at the construction site located on the north end of the property.

Reportedly, the hangar will be Wiggins Airways’ fourth and will provide 23,240 square feet of space to accommodate various types of aviation equipment and multiple aircraft. Plans for the hangar include a 28-foot tall by 114-foot wide Norco Stack hangar door, exterior metal panels, and a pitched metal roof.

Pro Con Inc. of Manchester, New Hampshire will act as architect and construction manager for the project.

Wiggins Airways is located at 1 Garside Way at the Manchester-Boson Regional Airport in Manchester, NH. The company was founded in 1929 and has been the forefront of aviation growth in the Northeast since. They began with scheduled passenger flights but have grown to include scheduled and charter cargo flight operations, passenger charter operations, and FBO operations.
