Local Company Awarded Competitive Contract

After being awarded a contract with Air Wisconsin, Londonderry based company AeroRepair Corp will be seeking additional employees to accommodate the increased workload. In an article written by April Guilment, correspondent for the Union Leader, the company may be looking for about 11 more workers to add to their 26 current employees.

Londonderry aircraft repair firm wins contract with Air Wisconsin

LONDONDERRY — Thanks to a new contract with Air Wisconsin, a longtime local aircraft repair firm will soon be filling some new positions at its Londonderry repair headquarters.

This week, AeroRepair Corp, located at 14 Tinker Ave., announced its award of a five-year contract to provide wheel and tire support for the Appleton, Wisc.-based airline’s major hubs and maintenance bases: located in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, N.C., Milwaukee, Norfolk, Va., Columbia, S.C., and Hot Springs, Ark.

“The selection process for the new Air Wisconsin CRJ-200 wheel support contract was extremely competitive, and we’re happy to announce our selection,” said Janet Huculak, vice president of Strategic Sourcing for Air Wisconsin, in a prepared statement.

Under the new contract, services will to be performed and managed at the company’s Londonderry repair station as well as inside a new satellite facility, its location yet to be announced.
