Continental Paving

Continental Paving began in the 1970’s as a family owned and operated trucking business. During these early years, the business steadily expanded into various related activities, including site development, utility installations, and eventually paving. In 1980, Rick and Mark Charbonneau incorporated the company.

During the 1980’s, as the United States economy continued to grow, Continental Paving expanded its fleet of equipment and accepted greater challenges. In 1986, the first asphalt plant was put into operation at the Londonderry facility, and two years later the corporate headquarters was moved from Hudson to the new office in Londonderry.

Over the years, the company has taken on a number of operations. While some may not still be available, Continental Paving offers a variety of services including portable aggregate crushing operations, Broadway/pavement milling and reclaiming operations, equipment and trucking rentals, asphalt production and sales out of two stationary and one portable asphalt plants, and more.

Continental Paving’s scope of projects include commercial building sites, residential housing developments, roadway construction from town roads and interstate highways and airport construction. Recent projects include Londonderry’s Airport Access Road and a runway relocation project at Nashua Airport.

Located in Londonderry, Continental Paving’s main headquarters is at 1 Continental Drive. They can be contacted at 603-437-5387 or visit their website.
